RECALIBRATE CONFERENCE
HOUSTON TEXAS, NOV 3RD & 4TH
WELCOME
RECALIBRATE - TRUE NORTH
Our journeys do not always follow straight paths. For this reason, we sometimes drift off course requiring the navigator to set a fresh point of reference to recalibrate the navigation system. While on mission, we are faced with circumstances beyond our control and distractions that can set us off course. When this happens, vision leaks, mission drifts and passion chills.
Since the events of 2020, many of us are trying to navigate a way back to what once seemed normal. In so doing, we often end up with old ministry models that are not effective today. Others, who are trying to find a new way of ministry, are, instead, met with roadblocks. The Recalibrate conference will give us an opportunity to view ministry through a different lens. This year’s theme is, ‘True North.’ For the local church, Jesus Christ is True North- the singular point from which everything in life is to radiate. The Bible makes this clear from Genesis to Revelation.
The mission that Jesus Christ gave to the local church is the compass that will help us get there. True North is our fixed point in a spinning and chaotic world that helps us stay on track as leaders. Just as a compass point at a fixed point on the globe, our churches True North pulls us forward. It guides us on the path to our destination and helps us stay on track to become a discipleship-making machine that will multiply.
At the 2023 Texas Annual Assembly, participants will learn effective ministry strategies and be equipped with the tools needed to find our True North. We will embrace vibrant worship, be inspired by powerful messages, and be equipped during interactive breakout sessions, all to help us recalibrate.
I am very excited to be gathering with you as we journey to learn and grow together!
